School Year Cooking Program:
September - May

After a very successful and delectable cooking series offered over the years we have... decided to expand our palates and our selection to include a larger array of French Cooking classes under the tutelage of in-house "Chef" Madame Gâteau. Children can come once a month to "Le Club" to have a French baking experience along with singing, conversation, an educational French movie and French storytime or once every month with their mom to a "Maman et Moi" cooking extravaganza, where we make a three-course meal or an array of desserts.

New this year will be WEEKLY COOKING classes ~ one is a drop-off for 4-6 year olds to enjoy an hour of culinary fun as well as learning French food vocabulary! In addition, we are offering another new weekly class for 5-8 year olds with Mom for 90 minutes of cooking together in an private home!!

Cooking Class Descriptions:

Maman et Moi ~

Weekly: Come to Wilton every Monday for a 90 minute Franc-O-Feast cooking experience for you and your 5-8 year old child. Learn to make something savory and something sweet (or two sweets!) and enjoy a goûter time together. We will enjoy a variety of recipes and sample foods from differing regions of France. This class provides an ideal means to speak en français with your child, and at the same time, expose them to the delectable world of la cuisine.

Monthly: Attend a wonderful Mommy & Me experience once a month on a Friday for a fun two hour cooking extravaganza and dinner together.

Drop off Cooking Classes for Children ~

Weekly: Cours de Cuisine: Have your 4-6 year old child come to Wilton every Monday for an hour of speaking French, learning to bake a French dessert and getting to enjoy eating it too!

Monthly: Our very popular LE CLUB de Cinq "C": Cuisine, Conversation, Cine, Chants, Contes d'histoire will be offered for a third year the first Saturday of every month chez Madame Fox. In the intimacy of a private home, children learn to make French desserts, enjoy French conversation and a time with puppets, watch a little bit of an educational French movie, hear French stories and sing some French songs. What a fun and stimulating way for 3-8 year olds to spend a Saturday afternoon. Bon appétit!!

Franc-O-Feast pour les Femmes (et Messieurs!) ~
French Cooking for adults

In 2009 Franc-O-Fun introduced a new way to enjoy a Friday evening: cooking à la française with other ladies, a few husbands and a French Chef. We gathered in the charming kitchens of our hostesses for an extravaganza of chopping, sautéing, kneading, etc.. while learning and conversing in French. After having worked hard at learning new cooking techniques, methods and vocabulary for 2 hours, our gourmet three-course dinners never looked better as they were beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed with a variety of choice wines.
